    Doctrine and Covenants 8:2 Yea, behold, I will tell you in your mind and in your heart, by the Holy Ghost, which shall come upon you and which shall dwell in your heart.
    3 Now, behold, this is the spirit of revelation;

    I have always been under the impression it was the other way around. I believe the heart testifies to the understanding your mind already has. What do you think?

    I think it was Harold B. Lee who said that a testimony began "when your heart tells you things that your mind does not yet know."
